Step 6: You choose to continue and Get Stared to confirm and continue to install two-layer security for iCloud.

Step 7: In this step, select Add a phone number and enter your phone number for Apple to send the activation code to. Then enter the 4-character activation code in the Verify phone number window and select Verify to confirm.

Step 8: After authenticating your phone number, click Continue to continue. At this point, Apple gives you a code called Recovery Key so you can recover your account in case of theft or forgetting iCloud login information. This number is very important so you can get the Print Key to re-print the code and store it in a safe place then press Contiue to continue.

Step 9: Re- enter the newly issued Recovery Key to confirm once again the two-factor security settings for icloud and select Confirm. Then, to complete you click on Enable Two-Step Verification.

Reset Password

To increase the security of your account as well as the data stored on iCloud, you should regularly change your iCloud password. Choosing a password for an icloud account is also quite important, you should choose a password that is long enough, difficult to guess with capital letters, lower case letters and special characters. A highly secure password is a string of more than 8 characters long including lower case letters, upper case letters, and special characters. With three secret questions, the user should also choose the answers that are difficult to guess and use special characters.
