Course Lesson 22: Fimo for Nail Art
Flowers, bears, hearts, butterflies… in plastic? No, in polymer clay! Let's see together what it is.
The polymer clay is a thermosetting polymer clay, shaped into various forms and, to the delight of nail artists, someone creates micro decorations in polymer clay .
The decorations for Nail Art in fimo are truly infinite, they can be found in all colors and shades and in many shapes and sizes. You can buy them on specialized sites, in cosmetic supply stores or in bazaars.
They are sold in small wheels, in boxes or in bars.
The method of applying the fimo for Nail Art is always the same, but if you buy it in bars, before applying it you will have to cut it. The secret is to make very thin cuts to avoid that the decoration is too embossed on the nail, thanks to the file and with a little practice it will become very easy.
