Zoom is a popular app. Simple and easy to use for online meetings or organize online classes. During an online meeting on Zoom, you may encounter some errors in connection, sound or image. In this article, WebTech360 will provide you and your teachers with methods to overcome the above basic errors.
1. Error while studying on Zoom, exited
The phenomenon of learning on Zoom suddenly being released has many reasons. You need to determine the cause in order to completely fix it.
1.1. Due to the Internet connection, the bandwidth is limited
This is the most common and frustrating problem when learning on Zoom. Signs to recognize that the network is weak in use and lacks bandwidth include: no screen display, broken sound, long delay or spontaneous exit.
To fix the error of the internet connection and bandwidth, first go to speedtest.net to check your internet connection speed to see if it can meet the technical requirements of zoom or not.
Note: Zoom specification – Wired or wireless broadband internet connection (3G or 4G/LTE) is required. The minimum bandwidth is 600kbps (upload/download) and it is recommended to have good quality 1.5Mbps (upload/download).
When your class or meeting is happening on zoom, the quickest fix is to temporarily disconnect from the network for 30 seconds and then reconnect. If there are multiple networks, try connecting to another network.
1.2. Exited due to terminal inactivity
While studying on Zoom suddenly got out, you should check the terminal such as: Check the power of the devices; Check if the wires are tight. If necessary, re-plug all terminals.
2. Error not receiving audio from others
When meeting, study on Zoom if you do not hear what others say, check whether you have turned on the speakers or not, have connected the computer speakers to Zoom or not.
Click the ^ icon next to Mic and select Test Speaker & Microphone
Click to select the device to test
Or teachers can click on the settings icon and then select Audio in the display interface. Then select Test Speaker and check if the sound is heard. If you can't hear it, select another device in the next frame and check again.
3. Mistakes other people can't hear you
Check if the microphone connected to the computer is still working.
At the user interface, select the Audio item , and then in the Microphone section, select Test Mic to check how your voice is recorded in the mic. If not, then we select another mic device in the box next to it and select Automatically adjust microphone and proceed to check again.
4. Echo error when speaking
In the Microphone window , uncheck Automatically adjust Microphone and then drag the slider to the left.
Teachers should use headphones with microphones, to use on Zoom to avoid echoes and eliminate noise.
5. Echo error when other people talk
This error belongs to other members' machines, you can send the above fourth fix to that member.
6. Other people don't see you
Check if the computer camera is covered or damaged , or if the external camera is connected to the computer.
Then go to settings, select Video , and select again the Video input device in the camera list.
