Instructions for deleting map history on Google Maps
Step 1: To do this, we first need to open the Google Maps application on our phone.
Step 2: In the main interface of the application, click on the account icon in the upper right corner of the screen.
Step 3: In the Account window , click Settings.
Step 4: Swipe the screen down to Account Settings, then touch Map History.
Step 5: Now in the Maps Activity section , continue to scroll down the screen, you will see your map search history in the past. Click the “X” icon to the right of the search history you want to delete.
Step 6: When the message window " Confirm you want to delete this activity " appears on the screen, click the Delete button.
Step 7: To set a schedule to automatically delete search history, we will return to the Maps Activity section , then touch the Automatic deletion section.
Step 8: Select Automatically delete saved activity , then set the time period for which you want to schedule automatic deletion. Then click the Continue button in the lower right corner of the screen.
Step 9: Finally, in the Confirm section you want to automatically delete the activity from the past... , click the Confirm button in the lower right corner of the screen.
