Canva is a webapp where you can customize different designs completely for free. You just need to have an account to start designing your own calendar.
Through the search bar, scroll through a series of templates listed under Create a design , select Calendar .
Canva takes you to a workspace. There is a series of calendar templates formatted along the left side of the screen, broken down by topic. Scroll through these templates to choose a design you like.
In this tutorial, I choose the " Classroom Calendar " model.
If you don't like the color combination on the pattern, you can change it.
Click on the color icon in the left corner of the workspace (highlighted in red), expand the color menu. Here you can choose:
You can add new colors to the template by touching the + sign or multicolored squares at the top of the palette.
The Change all option is not the only way. Another way you can copy a favorite style for Calendar is through the Paste style button that looks like a paint roller.
This tool is great when you want to apply the same font style, style or color to different elements in the calendar.
The interesting thing about Canva is that they have marked the days of the week and the months. So you do not need to enter manually. However, users can still change the font or color for these numbers.
Click a number, go to the top left toolbar and try different fonts, sizes, colors and spacing.
Next is to change the subject line " Classroom Calendar ". Click on the text to be edited. You can type to replace another text or not. Then go to the toolbar and adjust as above.
If you want to change the color of one or several characters in the text but not all, highlight the text to be changed and make edits on the toolbar.
Now that you've created your simple calendar, zoom out and check for errors, using the zoom tool located in the lower right corner of the workspace.
You can add accents to the calendar as a different color each month. For example pink in February, green in March ..
To do this, select individual elements on each page and use the color tool to make adjustments.
The calendar is complete and ready to download: To print a copy to use, click the Download icon in the upper right corner of the screen, select the file type.
If you plan to print a calendar, choose PDF Print .
Select the number of pages you want to print, Download Download .
Once the file has finished downloading, open and preview how it is before printing!
