1. How to set iPhone ringtone using iTunes

With this method, we have 2 options: 1 is to use online music cutting websites to cut iPhone ringtones, then put the music into the Ringtones section on iPhone and install it, 2 is to cut music directly on iTunes. We will see both methods below:

Method 1: Create iPhone ringtone on mp3cut

Step 1: Prepare the song you want to make an iPhone ringtone. If you already have an m4r file, go to Step 7  to set the ringtone for your iPhone.

Step 2: Go to mp3cut.net/vi and  click  Choose file to upload the prepared song.

Step 3: Select the start and end points of the ringtone by moving the 2 vertical bars on both sides or entering the start time in the Start box and the end time in the End box . iPhone ringtones have a maximum length of 40 seconds. Click the Play icon to listen to the sample.

Step 4: When you are satisfied with the ringtone, click Save As , select m4r , this is the iPhone ringtone format, then click Cut .

Step 5: Wait a moment for mp3cut to prepare the ringtone for you. When the following screen appears, click the Save button to download the music to your computer.

Step 6: Rename the ringtone for easy recognition, then press the Save button to save the ringtone file.

Step 7: Connect your iPhone to iTunes on your computer and click on the device name in the list on the left side of the screen. Next, click on the Sounds section to access the Ringtones section on your iPhone.

Step 8: Drag the m4r audio file from your computer to the iTunes Tones interface as shown below:

Connect your iPhone to your computer and open iTunes. The latest version of iTunes now supports iOS 13 and above. Then open the folder containing the song on your computer and drag it to the iTunes interface .

Select the song you want to cut as a ringtone , right-click and select Song Info .

In the next display interface, we click on Options . Here you choose the start and end points of the ringtone you want to use from the song. It is easier to listen to the music first and then choose the part to make the ringtone. Click OK .

Return to the iTunes interface, click on File and select Convert , then select Create AAC version .

A ringtone version of the song you selected earlier is immediately created, with the ringtone time set. If you like it, you can listen to it again to test the ringtone. If not, choose another part with the same operation as above.

Right-click the song to set as iPhone ringtone, then select Show in Windows Explorer .

Immediately after that, the iTunes Media folder interface will appear with the song we have cut as a ringtone in m4a format .

We will need to change the m4a extension to m4r to use it for ringtones on iPhone. Right click and change it to m4r. Click Yes to agree to convert the format.

Return to the iTunes interface , right-click on the created ringtone song, right-click and select Show in Windows Explorer . Because the file extension has been changed, iTunes cannot open it, click Locate to change the file again.

When doing this step, you do not need to delete the ringtone created in iTunes, to avoid deleting the wrong song. Otherwise, you can right-click on the old ringtone file and press Delete. Then just drag the m4r file to the iPhone's Notifications section in iTunes.

Display the folder with the m4r ringtone file , click Open to replace the file in the iTunes interface.

We access the main interface of ringer.org via the link below and then click the Upload file button to get the audio file from the computer. The ringer.org website will only allow you to get the audio file available on the computer.
