Base shield reduced to 70 - 300 (based on level) from 85 - 350.
Shield ratio based on bonus AD reduced from 175% → 150% bonus AD.
Shield duration reduced from 2 seconds → 1.5 seconds.

New update on mode
Preseason 2025
There will be 3 themed seasons in 2025, each lasting around 8 patches. Each season will revolve around a specific theme and a different set of champions.
Impact: Includes gameplay, game modes, skins, mini-games, and champions.
Off-topic events: Will continue as usual.
Season 1: Theme revolves around Noxus.
Season division: Each season will be divided into 2 chapters (acts), with corresponding event packages.
Pass Duration: Passes will last longer than before.
Free Pass Rewards:
1 themed skin (permanently unlockable).
1 random skin piece (cost ≤ 1350 RP).
1 title (Title).
2 Emotes.
2 Mystery Emotes.
3 icons.
2 Mystery Icons.
4 Champions Capsules.
4750 Blue Essence (unlimited increase at final level).
Paid Pass Rewards:
Includes all free bonuses.
3 Ancient Sparks.
3 reward skins.
3 Borders.
7 Loot Orbs.
1 banner.
1 eye skin (Ward Skin).

1000 Orange Essence (after level 50, gain 25 OE every 5 levels).
Rankings and other features
MMR and Rank: No longer reset after each theme season or cycle.
End of Season Rewards: 3 winning skins will be awarded at the end of each season or theme cycle.
Matchmaking
There will no longer be a situation where one team has more autofilled players than the other, which creates more balance when matching teams.
Summoner's Rift Gameplay:
Riot will release an official document on item efficiency.
Waiting Line:
Swiftplay mode will replace Quickplay on the Summoner's Rift map.
Gameplay mechanics changes:
Gold and experience source: Will get more towards the end of the game.
Comeback Mechanics: Comeback XP/gold will be stronger, but less effective when taking down losing players.
Turrets: Turret plates will disappear sooner.
Baron Nashor: Appears earlier.
Dragon Soul: Only needs 3 dragons to achieve.
Support and Jungle Quests: Complete faster.
Dead minions nearby: If not killed by a champion, gold received will be reduced.
Support Equipment: Higher price but stats increase accordingly.
The update will be available in version V25.S1.1 for regions: NA, LAN, LAS, EUW, EUNE, RU, BR, TR, TW, VN.
