Changes to the generals

Ambessa

• Base shield reduced to 70 - 300 (based on level) from 85 - 350.
• Shield ratio based on bonus AD reduced from 175% → 150% bonus AD.
• Shield duration reduced from 2 seconds → 1.5 seconds.

• Bonus AD ratio reduced from 40/50/60/70/80% → 40/45/50/55/60% AD.
• Total AD ratio reduced from 80/100/120/140/160% → 80/90/100/110/120% AD.

Aurora

• Bug Fix: Tooltip will now correctly display the amount of bonus movement speed.

• Splash art adjustments for the following skins: Creator Viktor, Psychic Viktor, and Cowboy Viktor.
• New storyline and voice-over.
• Sound effects updated.
• Selection radius increased from 120 units to 160 units.
• Title changed to "Magic Messenger" from "Machine Messenger".

Passive

• Hex fragments received from large minions increased from 5 to 10.
• Hex fragments gained from kills reduced from 25 to 20.
• Arcane Storm no longer automatically upgrades after basic skills are enhanced

• Accumulation speed reduced from 0.5 seconds to 0.25 seconds.
• Maximum stacks increased from 3 to 6.
• The cumulative effect will be consumed after reaching 6 points.
• Enemies are no longer immune to slows after stacks are consumed.

Arcane Storm Skill:

• Renamed from Chaos Storm to Arcane Storm
• New effect: When killing an enemy hit by the skill, the skill will increase the radius by 40% and extend the duration by 3 seconds (maximum 6 times).

New update on mode

Preseason 2025

There will be 3 themed seasons in 2025, each lasting around 8 patches. Each season will revolve around a specific theme and a different set of champions.

• Impact: Includes gameplay, game modes, skins, mini-games, and champions.
• Off-topic events: Will continue as usual.
• Season 1: Theme revolves around Noxus.
• Season division: Each season will be divided into 2 chapters (acts), with corresponding event packages.
• Pass Duration: Passes will last longer than before.

Free Pass Rewards:

• 1 themed skin (permanently unlockable).
• 1 random skin piece (cost ≤ 1350 RP).
• 1 title (Title).
• 2 Emotes.
• 2 Mystery Emotes.
• 3 icons.
• 2 Mystery Icons.
• 4 Champions Capsules.
• 4750 Blue Essence (unlimited increase at final level).

Paid Pass Rewards:

Includes all free bonuses.

• 3 Ancient Sparks.
• 3 reward skins.
• 3 Borders.
• 7 Loot Orbs.
• 1 banner.
• 1 eye skin (Ward Skin).
• 2 Emotes.
• 2 icons.
• 1000 Orange Essence (after level 50, gain 25 OE every 5 levels).

Rankings and other features

• MMR and Rank: No longer reset after each theme season or cycle.
• End of Season Rewards: 3 winning skins will be awarded at the end of each season or theme cycle.

Matchmaking

• There will no longer be a situation where one team has more autofilled players than the other, which creates more balance when matching teams.

Summoner's Rift Gameplay:

• Riot will release an official document on item efficiency.

Waiting Line:

• Swiftplay mode will replace Quickplay on the Summoner's Rift map.

Gameplay mechanics changes:

• Gold and experience source: Will get more towards the end of the game.
• Comeback Mechanics: Comeback XP/gold will be stronger, but less effective when taking down losing players.

• Turrets: Turret plates will disappear sooner.
• Baron Nashor: Appears earlier.
• Dragon Soul: Only needs 3 dragons to achieve.
• Support and Jungle Quests: Complete faster.
• Dead minions nearby: If not killed by a champion, gold received will be reduced.
• Support Equipment: Higher price but stats increase accordingly.

The update will be available in version V25.S1.1 for regions: NA, LAN, LAS, EUW, EUNE, RU, BR, TR, TW, VN.
