9 Notion Integrations to Boost Productivity
9 Notion Integrations to Boost Productivity
Notion is flexible, but it can't do everything—at least not on its own. With the right integrations, you can automate workflows, sync data across platforms, and boost productivity without ever leaving Notion.
Notion’s Slack integration is one of the best ways to keep you and your team up to date on important changes to your database. It takes just a few clicks to create a Slack automation in Notion in your database. Then, whenever someone performs an action, like editing a property or adding a page, Notion will send a notification to the appropriate Slack channel.

Additionally, this integration also lets you create Notion tasks directly within Slack. You can easily turn any message sent in a Slack channel into a Notion task with just a few clicks.
If you use Notion for task management, the Gmail integration allows you to create automations similar to Slack. You can set it up so that whenever someone makes a change to your Notion database, it will email multiple people to notify them of the change.
Note : Creating Gmail automations requires a Notion Plus subscription. The only third-party app you can automate with in the free version is Slack.
What users love most about the Gmail integration is that you can use variables to customize the message with just a few clicks, explaining exactly what happened. For example, if someone added a page to a database, the message could specify the page name, who added the page, and the database they added it to.
7. Notion Calendar
Notion Calendar integration allows you to sync your database with your calendar so you can see all your due dates and events at a glance. You can also use Notion Calendar to add new entries to your database and edit existing entries.
Additionally, if you use Google Calendar, you can connect it to Notion Calendar. From there, you can also create and manage Google Calendar events.

Once you've linked Notion Calendar to your database and Google Calendar, you can see all your upcoming events in the Home section of Notion.
6. Asana
Notion's Asana integration will sync your Asana projects and tasks into Notion. They'll be inserted into a regularly updated database, reflecting changes made in Asana on your Notion pages.

While you can't manage or create automated actions for them, it's a good way to keep them up to date and include them in your Notion workflow (for example, create views and use relationships to connect them to other databases).
Notion's Google Drive integration allows you to embed and preview images and documents stored in Google Drive. This means you can view your Google Drive files without leaving Notion. For example, if you embed a Google Docs document, you'll be able to read it from within Notion without having to open a browser window - however, you won't be able to edit it.
With the Figma integration, you can view your design files, prototypes, and mockups in Notion. This integration is especially useful if you're part of a design team and want team members to be able to preview Figma files.

3. Lucidchart
With the Lucidchart integration for Notion, you can preview diagrams, workflows, and other visuals in Notion. Simply paste a link into Notion and it will generate a highly interactive preview for people who don’t have direct access to Lucidchart. It’s very user-friendly, allowing you to easily scroll around, flip pages, and zoom in and out.

2. Zoom
There are some groups that will keep their team guidelines in Notion. Many of them will have a regular meeting that takes place at the beginning of the month.

The Zoom preview it generates also includes the room ID and passcode, saving you the trouble of digging through a calendar invite or long-buried email.
1. Zapier
Zapier is a popular tool for automating workflows. It allows you to connect Notion with many apps, tools, and services that are not on Notion's integration list.
A Zap creates a new database item in Notion when a new task is created in Microsoft To Do.
A great example is using Zapier to connect Microsoft To Do with Notion. You can set up an automated workflow in Zapier (called a Zap) that creates a new database entry in Notion whenever you create a task in Microsoft To Do. The best part is that you can use Copilot, Zapier’s AI assistant, to help you create Zaps.
If you look at Notion’s full list of integrations, you’ll see that it can connect to dozens of apps and services, from communication to task management to design and collaboration. And with Zapier, that list is even more extensive.
