Step 1: Open VLC Media Player , on the menu bar click Media , select Convert / Save ... (or use the key combination Ctrl + R ) to convert the format.
Step 2: Open Media window appears, click the Add button to add the video you want to convert.
Find the path to save the file you want to convert, select the file and click Open to open.
Step 3: If you want to add subtitles to the video, select the User a subtitle file and click Browse ... to select the path to save the sub file.
Then tick the drop down button next to the Convert / Save button and choose Convert (or use the key combination Alt + O ).
Step 4: In the Profile section, select the output format for the video. In the Destination file section, click the Browse button to select the path to save the file after conversion is complete.
