How to properly clean the pressure cooker

Step 1: Remove the rubber ring on the pressure cooker lid and rinse separately

Do not submerge the pressure cooker lid in water, this may damage the pressure valves. Do not wash the pressure cookers in the dishwasher because food residues and dishwashing liquid can get into the valves, causing them to clog.

When not using the pot for a long time, you should not lock the lid of the pressure cooker because you may damage the rubber ring, or you will not be able to open the lid because the cooker is closed after a while. The space will get wet in the rubber ring, causing it to deform and make the lid of the pot stick to the pressure cooker.
