First make sure your Viber chat application is in the latest version of Viber, if not the latest version, please go to App Store or Google Play to update.
At the main interface of the Viber application, click to the dash (the bottom right corner).

In the setup window of the Photo Library , turn off Auto Video - Allow downloaded videos to be played.
