If you are downloading a large file using uTorrent, but the system reports an error or you suddenly realize that the drive does not have enough space to hold that file. So how to move the file being downloaded by uTorrent to a new location without affecting the download process?
Moving the downloaded torrent file to a new location will not only save you time, but also will not interrupt the download process.
Step 1: You need to stop the downloading files by selecting Stop . Attention, do not press Pause .
Step 2: Right-click, select Advanced and then press Set Download Location to change the save location.
A new dialog box appears, select the new location you want to save the file and click Select Folder, uTorrtent will automatically move the downloaded file to the selected location.
ATTENTION:
The migration process can take quite a while.
Step 3: Once the file has successfully transferred, restart the download process simply by right-clicking on the torrent file and clicking Start.
Mac users running OS X follow the same steps above. Just stop the download, then right-click on the torrent and set the new download location.
With this guide, you can feel secure when downloading a large file on uTorrent and there is not enough space in the saving location. This migration is very easy to do without interrupting the download process.
