Some notes before drawing an organizational chart:

  • To create an organizational chart for people's names, create a data table with the first column being the names of the people you want to appear on the chart. The second column is the name of a higher level manager than the first column.
  • If creating a location map, enter each low location in the first column and the second column as the high location.
  • If you want to make a genealogy chart, the first column is the name of each family member in the first column and the parents in the second column.

Step 8: If you want to edit the diagram, click on the three-dot icon in the upper right corner of the chart. Then, click Edit chart.
