+ Hard drive 500 GB or less: With a hard drive below 500 GB, you just need to connect the hard drive to the Toshiba TV and you can comfortably view the contents of the hard drive.
+ Hard drive over 500 GB: With hard drives with capacity from 500 GB or more, you need to power the hard drive to ensure enough power to connect to the hard drive. You just need to equip a Y-shaped cable, with the other end plugged into the other USB port of Toshiba TV to supply enough power for the hard drive, you can quickly connect to hard drives larger than 500 GB.
In case Toshiba TV does not recognize the hard drive, you can fix it by the following ways:
Use hard drives from reputable brands in the market.
+ It is best to use a hard drive with a capacity less than 2T.
+ For some old Toshiba TV models, if you have replaced another hard drive and still cannot connect, this TV may not support the hard drive connection feature. Then, you can try to share the content by other ways such as connecting to a phone, USB, laptop,….
+ If still not connected, you can unplug the hard drive and try factory reset and reset the TV .
