Guide to scan the QR code to access Zalo Web

Before performing the following steps, make sure your phone has the respective Zalo for Mobile installed:

• Download Zalo for iOS
• Download Zalo for Android
• Download Zalo for Windows Phone

Step 1: First access to Zalo Web,  you will see the Zalo Login interface . Here, there are 3 login options:

• Account: Sign in with your phone number, Zalo account password.
• QR code: Use your phone Zalo to scan the QR Code.
• Login Required: Submit a login request to the Zalo app on your device.

Here we will choose to sign in with a QR Code.

Step 2: Next, open the Zalo app on your mobile phone, click on the 3 horizontal dots icon , then click on the QR code icon next to the search box. When the Scan QR code screen appears, point the phone camera at the QR code on the web browser. Next, click Sign in to agree to log in on Zalo Web.

Step 3: Now you can use online Zalo to chat, call, and text for free. Contacts on the phone, as well as messages, calls will be synchronized for you to use very conveniently. During the chat you can send attachments, send images as well as insert emojis as you like.

Set up Zalo Web notifications on the browser

1. Set up new message alert tones on Zalo

To set a sound when a new message arrives, just click on the Settings tab (gear icon) in the left column of the screen, then tick the New Message Alert section . Then click on the Save settings button to save the changes.

2. Set Popup notifications on the desktop (desktop)

Step 1: To display Popup notification when there are new messages, do the following, depending on the browser, the way will be different. For Chrome browser , after successfully logging in Zalo you will see a message as shown below, click Click here to enable new message notifications on your computer. Then, continue to click Allow.

For the Firefox browser , click Click here on the notification to enable notification, then continue to click on the drop-down arrow and select Always Show Notifications to enable new message notifications.

As for the browser Opera , then press select to Click here on notifications enable notifications, then keep clicking the button Allow to agree activated.

Step 2: Then you click Settings , then check the box Popup notification on the desktop (desktop). Then click the Save settings button to save the changes.

Step 3: Now, every time someone texts you, you will receive a notification like the picture below, if you leave the speaker, you will hear the accompanying sound.

3. Set up delete chat history when logging out

If you want to delete all chat history in your browser every time you log out, just click the tab Setup, then tick the box Clear chat history when logged out. Then click the Save settings button to save the recent changes.

Or when you click the sign out icon in the bottom left corner of the screen, a message will appear that you want to log out of ZaloWeb or not? Now if you want to delete chat history, check the box Delete chat history when logged out . Then click Yes to log out of Zalo.
