Stay calm, and be firm. Being calm can help you teach your kids how to properly manage their emotions.
Concentrate on a calm conversation. Screaming will quell all forms of communication between you and the child. Anger often prevents your child from learning lessons through discipline.
Teach your lesson, but then be friendly with your child. You can kiss, hug, and show affection after the punishment has been given, in order to maintain a strong relationship.
Don't use anger to treat anger. Instead, ease your anger with humor, empathy. Talk to your child as needed to avoid a crisis.
Don't be too loud when you're disappointed with your child. Instead, have a discipline plan in place, and use it consistently and decisively.
Rule number two: Teach a lesson
When your children have an argument, it is important to help them heal together to improve their relationship.
Do not sarcasm children. When parents tease a child with sarcastic words, the child loses direction and does not understand the parent's point of view.
Play a mediator role, not an authority. If your child cannot resolve disagreement in real life, too.
Explain to your child that there will be immediate consequences if the action is not appropriate.
Never threaten a child with failure. Research shows that parenting in this way is linked to depression, anxiety, and lack of self-esteem.
Avoid manipulating or rejecting your child's point of view, as they are inherently incapable of grasping reality.
Rule number three: Setting expectations is the key to teaching kids success
Don't use violence in response to violence against your child
Come up with discipline rules and try to be clear that these rules don't change. This does not create a confrontation. It is purely practical advice.
Agree with your child about where the rules should be followed.

Talk to people around you to learn about your child's mistakes.

Never spank, or try to release anger with punching bags and video games. This will foster violence in the child. The only way to manage anger is to deal with it face to face.
Do not use violence. Modeling appropriate behavior is real work. It is not enough just to describe to children how they should act.
Parents must be able to reconcile when their children disagree
Understand the factors that impact the environment on your children. Help your child participate in role-playing exercises to help them determine what to do when angry. Role-playing exercises will help children experience in a safe way.
Don't see your child's bad behavior as a release of deep emotion or anger. A child's bad behavior can be related to physical punishment or violent means.
