Step 1: Uninstall IDM in the usual way

Step 2: Remove IDM from Registry

Step 3: Delete IDM in drive C

Next go to drive C -> Program Files . Then find Internet Download Manager application and delete it. Remember to press Shift + Del to erase it from your computer.

Finally, restart the computer for Windows to change into a new state and to remove all Internet Download Manager data left over before. After logging back in, you can install Internet Download Manager as usual.
