In addition to popular accounts in your target niche, look at popular videos in general to get an idea of what types of videos are trending. You may be able to adapt some of these trends to your niche.

Hashtags help potential followers find your videos. Use at least three hashtags per post. Make sure the hashtags are relevant to the content of your video. While the right hashtags won’t necessarily get you more followers, they can help make your videos more discoverable.
Hashtags help people find videos they like—you can also think of them as "notebook labels" that help you organize your content.
For example, if you're marketing a product, add #TikTokMadeMeBuyIt so your product shows up alongside all the trending products on the platform.
Cormack agrees that using trending hashtags on TikTok is “a tactic that can help other people discover your videos,” but cautions that “it’s not the most important tactic. I think using trending sounds is a better way to get more followers than using hashtags.”
