A mother in Leeds, West Yorkshire has come up with a very creative way to help her little girl refresh her summer day. That is making ice cream from breast milk.
Leanne, a mother of three, said she had struggled to encourage 11-month-old baby Willow Abbiss to drink breast milk.
"I thought about making ice cream from breast milk and I bought the ice cream cone to try it," the 37-year-old woman shared.
"All of this happens when the weather starts to heat up - so my testing has been very good."
Leanne explained that she was worried breastmilk could melt quickly in hot weather. However, the barber said, she eats ice cream very quickly, so it could not melt or stain Willow's body.

The mother said the women of Willow, four-year-old Poppy and nine-year-old Autumn wanted to try the ice cream too.
"However, this ice cream is only for little Willow," Leanne said.

Leanne and her husband, Paul added that the cool creams are an effective pain reliever for their kids when teething.
Since returning to work, Leanne had to express milk for storage. However, she was worried that breastmilk would be "wasted" because Willow refused to drink from the cup.
"Anyone who nurses a baby knows the value of breast milk, so I don't want to waste it," Leanne said.
"I was surprised that my daughter loved this breastmilk ice cream."
1 ripe banana
2 tablespoons peanut butter
1/2 cup cereal flour
1 teaspoon unsweetened cocoa powder
50ml breast milk (thawed)
Ice
Step 1: Put the cereal flour in the blender first, turn on the machine and add a little water to make the cereal puree.
Step 2: Put all the remaining ingredients in the blender.
Step 3: Blend until smooth and blended, then give ice cubes.
Step 4: Let the mixture make sense for your baby to enjoy!
200ml breast milk
1/2 box of unsweetened yogurt
Sugar
Step 1: Use only breastmilk directly in a bottle or frozen milk to make yogurt. Frozen breastmilk has been reheated only once, if the baby does not suckle, it must be discarded, not taken advantage of.
Step 2: Soak the milk in hot water below 70 degrees to warm it, you can warm it with a bottle warmer. Temperatures below 70 degrees C will not make breastmilk lose nutrients.
Step 3: Soak the milk in ice water and let it cool until it is about 45 degrees Celsius. Mom can use the thermometer to measure accurately.
Step 4: Add 2 tablespoons of unsweetened yogurt to the breast milk to make yeast to help the yogurt quickly, no need for sugar.
Step 5: Divide the milk into small glass jars that have been sterilized with boiling water, cover and incubate in 40-degree warm water for 4-8 hours. Milk will become more sour for a long time, but it should not be incubated for more than 12 hours.
Step 6: Store yogurt in the refrigerator. Before feeding the baby again, put it in the heater at 40 degrees Celsius.
Note: Children over 6 months old have a stable gut to eat with yogurt. Yogurt from another mother's milk should not be given to babies that can spread the disease. Time to store yogurt in the refrigerator compartment from 4-7 days depending on the frequency of opening the refrigerator. Milk should be put inside the drawer instead of outside the door. After this time, if the baby does not finish, discard it.
