Using the computer at night or late at night to work, play games or confide messages with friends is a habit that is never difficult to quit for the majority of people. And this directly affects the health of the eyes.
The following article, WebTech360 shares you how to activate Night Light mode (or Night Light Mode) to help protect your eyes when using a computer or laptop at night.
What is Night Light mode?
Night Light (or Night Light Mode) is a built-in mode on Windows 10 computers and laptops that is very useful for those who work late at night.
The Night Light feature works to reduce eye strain when you use the computer in low-light environments by turning the entire screen color to yellow, and reducing the background brightness for more eye-friendly. Or to be more specific, this feature will help protect the eyes from the harmful effects of blue light.
How to activate Night Light mode
- Step 1: Access to Settings from Start Menu
- Step 2: In the list of Settings, find and click the box "System"
- Step 3: In the System section, click the Display setup group. In it, the options located in Display will appear. At this point, you access the ON option to allow Night Light to be active.
- Step 4: Here, Night Light will operate automatically at the default time of 21:00. You can set the time as you like.
- Step 5: In the Night Light Settings interface that appears, click on the option "Turn on now".
So you have activated Night Light mode to help protect your eyes when using the computer already! Good luck!
