Cinematic mode on iPhone 13 gives you more control over focus in video footage. It's basically like Portrait mode for videos but with a few more options.
Note: The Cinematic feature currently only supports the iPhone 13 series. However, you can edit videos recorded in this mode on older iPhones.

How to access Cinematic mode on iPhone
To access Cinematic, go to Camera on iPhone. Then, swipe the screen to change modes until you see Cinematic turn yellow, like you switched from Photo to Video .
You can also touch the right hand side of the control panel in the Camera app until you switch to this mode.

You can also manually adjust the focus by touching anywhere in the frame. If the iPhone detects another subject, this mode will suggest a location you can touch with a small white box.
To stop recording on iPhone 13, press the red button again. The video will be saved to your camera library, just like the photos or clips you recorded.
