Simple ways to use the Transform tool in Photoshop

1. Use Rotation to locate the perfect image

However, for situations where you need to rotate a set of photos at the same time, the Transform tool also includes the option to rotate the image 180 degrees, 90 degrees clockwise, 90 degrees counterclockwise.

4. Use Distortion to extend the image limit

6. Use Wrap to manipulate objects in the image

Wrap allows you to manipulate objects in their space. One of the best uses involves creating a product copy or aligning an image to the current object in an image. While Distort offers a wide range of design options, tweaking Wrap gives you one more step to keep up with other objects.

In the image below, you can see a common application of Warp. When images are needed to surround irregularly shaped objects such as T-shirts, one side of a vehicle or another strange curved object, the Wrap tool will work. In this example, the teabag logo, wrapped in the shape of a cup, displayed a beautiful replica of the branded tea cup.

7. Use Flip to mirror images

Photoshop has included the option to flip images vertically or horizontally directly inside the Transform tool. The resulting mirror image can be edited immediately or later. When looking for different viewing angles, try the Flip feature.
